AI startup Anthropic may go public soon as investor interest and demand for enterprise AI Services grow.
According to a report by Financial Times( FT), Anthropic, the company behind AI chatbot Claude, has hired law- establishment Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati to prepare for an initial public immolation( IPO) that could be as early as 2026
The startup is reportedly in contact with major investment banks, though these conversations remain informal and no final statement has been made.
Still, it would help Anthropic raise capital more efficiently and give it latitude for larger accessions using public stock, If the IPO goes ahead.
At the same time, the company is negotiating a private funding round that could value it above US$ 300 billion. Internally, Anthropic expects its annualized revenue run rate to more than double, conceivably reaching around US$ 26 billion next year.
